    We continually monitor our website for errors and if one occurs, information about your web browser may be collected to assist us in correcting the problem.

    We declare that all personal data will be treated in accordance with the December 8, 1992 privacy law. By agreeing with the general sales conditions, the customer agrees to receive occasional information about products and services from us and our partners.

    2. Data Deletion

    Users may request deletion of their data at any time. Users’ right to deletion is not absolute and is subject to certain exceptions. We may retain user data after a deletion request due to legal or regulatory requirements or for reasons stated in this policy. This means that we retain different categories of data for different periods of time depending on the type of data, the category of user to whom the data relates, and the purposes for which we collected the data.

    Users may request deletion of their data at any time by emailing their request to us at support@grubsouth.com from the email address that they believe is associated with their account, with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. For safety and to otherwise prevent fraud, we may ask that you provide us with certain personal information that’s reasonably necessary for us to confirm your identity.

    Following an account deletion request, we will delete the user’s account and data, unless they must be retained due to legal or regulatory requirements, for purposes of safety, security, and fraud prevention, or because of an issue relating to the user’s account such as an outstanding credit or an unresolved claim or dispute.

    Because we are subject to legal and regulatory requirements relating to drivers and delivery persons, this generally means that we retain their account and data for a minimum of 7 years after a deletion request. For delivery recipients, their data is generally deleted within 90 days of a deletion request, except where retention is necessary for the above reasons.
